When driving by the local cricket nets the other night, I observed that they had been cordoned off with police tape. Someone wasn’t too pleased about this, for when I returned the following day to take a photo, most of the tape had already been torn away.
This is yet another example of lockdown lunacy and the inconsistent enforcement of public health restrictions.
All you need to do in Sydney is drive five minutes to a suburb where the COVID risk is apparently lower and you will find other amenities like these open to the public.
Hopefully that is where the local cricketing exiles have now gone.
