The 1968 television special played a pivotal role in the new Elvis movie.

I had seen parts of it before, such as the black leather set and the closing number (see photo above), but had not seen the entire show.

So imagine my surprise when I found the full version online, complete with Elvis using karate on dozens of bad guys whilst singing ‘It Hurts Me’ to a damsel in distress.
