Firstly, I should point out that I’m a big fan of this franchise.
The first Creed movie came out in 2015 and I would rate it as one of the best films of the last decade.
With Michael B Jordan starring and directing, as well as Jonathan Majors cast as the main antagonist, I quickly headed to the local cinema to watch this latest installment.
The film certainly did not disappoint, although I found elements of the plot to be a little contrived in order to take the characters to where they needed to go. I’m probably being a bit harsh there, but as an author I perceived it that way.
There was no Sylvester Stallone this time around and I don’t think the film needed him, but I’m surprised there was no cameo.
Overall, it was a great film that was presented differently to the typical Rocky/Creed formula.
I will conclude by saying that the other cinema goers gave the movie a round of applause at the end.
I don’t recall that happening for ‘The Rise of Skywalker’.
