It mysteriously changed colour!
I’m just going to pretend that this is a new ‘prism’ design and has nothing to do with Pride Month, LGBTQ or the rainbow flag. Right?

I suppose thousands of people would see this place every day, but for me it was the first time last night.
I couldn’t believe how far down into the ground it went.

Included in my reworked novella ‘Barren Point Road’, are four brand new short stories.
One of which is ‘The Ballad of Tokyo Road’, which I have attached below as a PDF to download with no strings attached.
The ‘Only Lonely’ music video mentioned in the story and featured in the photo montage above can be found at this link: – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfIu7hf5nqc
Although, I should put out a warning in advance, mainly over the acting skills on show during the song’s intro.

The police helicopter keeping an eye on the ‘Sack Them All Rally’ glides across with Sydney Tower in the background, making for a great photo.
Links to my videos of the protest are below –

It appears four of my titles are available to buy at booktopia as eBooks. I don’t know much about this website, but it’s always nice to see my work displayed online.

I am so appreciative of all the people who have shown an interest in both my videos on YouTube and the articles on this website.
For those who have subscribed and commented on my work, I cannot thank you enough.
I have attached my entrant into last year’s UK Storyteller Competition to download as a PDF for free, as my small way of saying ‘Thank You’.
I’m new to all this, so if the download doesn’t work I’d be terribly embarrassed.
Please let me know if you can’t access the file.

Businesses just can’t help themselves these days. This virtue signalling is everywhere, but sometimes you really have to look hard to find it.
Now that I’ve pointed it out, let’s see how long it takes before the rainbow flag changes to a Ukraine flag.

Street art on adjacent walls to the Engadine Macca’s car park are the only tribute to Scott Morrison and the infamous pants-shitting incident that took place there years ago.
Apparently, there was a plaque erected by a member of the voting public, but sadly it has been removed.

I’m not sure what has sparked the thousands of views of my video on YouTube during the last few weeks. Strange considering I uploaded the clip over two years ago.
Either way, if it’s the colossus you want, it’s the colossus you’ll get!
Below are all the photos I took on that wet and rainy Florence afternoon.
