The first Australian coin released into circulation and featuring the change of monarch is the 2023 $1 coin.

Although they’ve been around for a few weeks, I received my first one yesterday.

I suppose the other denominations will follow shortly.

Interestingly, I did hear that King Charles will not be on the $5 note when the design is updated.
